For the third time in the Lane Kiffin era at Florida Atlantic, the Owls held a practice in Miami, and Miami hip-hop icon and football coach Luther Campbell is once again all for it.
FAU sent its buses two counties south from Boca Raton to Moore Park in Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood on Saturday to hold its second spring scrimmage, which was open to the public. In August of 2017 and then again last spring, Kiffin brought Owls practices to Hadley Park in Liberty City, the home of Campbell’s youth program Liberty City Warriors.
