Lane Kiffin says FAU quarterback Chris Robison is still a work in progress, but remains confident in talented redshirt freshman

BOCA RATON — When Lane Kiffin chose Chris Robison as Florida Atlantic’s starting quarterback late last month, he did so knowing the redshirt freshman would be a work in progress.

“Freshmen are always going to make mistakes because you haven’t played,” Kiffin said Sunday.

So far, somewhat good (and somewhat bad) for the Oklahoma transfer. Still only 19, Robison has completed 64.7 percent of his passes for 923 yards, five touchdowns, and five interceptions through FAU’s first four games, guiding the Owls to a 2-2 record entering Conference USA play.
