BOCA RATON — It might be fair to say that FAU All-American running back Devin Singletary has officially hit college football stardom.
After all, how many other Division I players can say they have their own billboard?
As part of the school’s “Winning in Paradise” marketing plan, FAU has placed a “Heisman in Paradise” billboard featuring Singletary – a dark horse Heiman Trophy candidate who ran for 1,920 yards and an FBS-best 32 rushing touchdowns last season – off the Woolbright exit on I-95. A former local star at American Heritage, Singletary’s 44 rushing touchdowns are the most by any FAU running back in program history.
