BOCA RATON — Lane Kiffin’s Florida Atlantic Owls will hit the road for the first time this season, although their Sept. 1 showdown with 2017 College Football Playoff semifinalist Oklahoma will have to wait a bit longer.
Kiffin and the Owls will travel to Carter Park in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday morning (10:30 a.m. and open to the public) for not only a scrimmage, but a youth football clinic which will benefit those affected by February’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting. This marks the third straight year that the Owls have practiced at Carter Park and the second under Kiffin.
