BOCA RATON — When the time came to make his signing day decision, Palm Beach Lakes athlete Teja Young decided he wasn’t concerned about any high expectations that would come if he signed with Florida Atlantic.
The pressure of contributing to one of college football’s rising programs is one thing, but Young — an All-Area honorable mention by The Post after recording five passing touchdowns, 10 rushing touchdowns, six pass breakups and 15 solo tackles for the Rams last season — joins the Owls when other local products are thriving under Lane Kiffin.
“It’s never really any pressure when it comes to football for me because it’s always been a natural gift,” Young (5-foot-11, 180 pounds) told The Post.
