Former Florida Atlantic football players Gregory Howell Jr., and Greg Joseph will continue their careers professionally near where they played college.
Both signed free contracts with the Miami Dolphins Saturday night.
Last year Howell rushed for 740 yards as the primary backup to running back to Devin “Motor” Singletary, the Conference USA Most Valuable Player. Howell finished his FAU career with 22 touchdowns.
A kicker, Joseph holds nearly every school record and made 57 of 82 field goals in his four years.
There were no FAU players taken during this weekend’s NFL draft, but at least three other Owls could land on roster.
