When former Florida Atlantic athletic director Pat Chun left for Washington State last week, the initial thoughts were it was because of a cold relationship with coach Lane Kiffin.
On Tuesday, Chun cleared the air and claimed there was no rift between the two. While speaking with ESPN West Palm radio, he said had a solid association with Kiffin during their one year together.
“Any way you cut it we had a successful relationship together,” Chun told the radio station. “It’s the best [athletic] year ever in Florida Atlantic University history …Lane did an extraordinary job for us.
