A year after dealing with disappointment at the time of year, it was a much more joyous atmosphere for the Florida Atlantic baseball team.
On Monday, the Owls were on of the 64 teams selected to the NCAA Tournament. They will play in the Florida regional starting Friday against Jacksonville. The Gators play Columbia.
The Owls played their way into the postseason after a strong showing in the Conference USA tournament. They advanced to the final for the first time in school history, falling 12-3 to Rice on Sunday.
