BOCA RATON — The week leading up to the start of Conference USA play has Florida Atlantic wide receiver Tavaris Harrison feeling good.
“It’s a little bit more exciting in practice,” Harrison said. “We want to perfect everything we’re doing so I think the conference play really has a big role.”
A former North Miami standout, Harrison has every reason to be excited when FAU (2-2) opens C-USA play by facing Middle Tennessee (1-2) this Saturday. A year after being buried on the depth chart and only catching eight passes for 77 yards, the redshirt junior is expected to play a key role this fall as the Owls try to win their second straight conference championship.
