BOCA RATON — Armani Adams is reserved and polite by nature, which makes the true freshman safety already taking cues from two of Florida Atlantic’s loudest defensive players even more surprising.
“I’ve talked to (linebackers) Andrew Soroh and Azeez Al-Shaair a lot,” Adams, who signed with FAU in February, told The Post. “They were just telling me to make sure I stay on my stuff and keep working. Make sure I’m doing a lot of stuff on my own if I have a chance to.”
Al-Shaair is the heart and soul of a FAU defense which ranked third in Conference USA last season with 22.
