No matter where Florida Atlantic running back Gerald Hearns is on the depth chart he always gives maximum effort.
Hearns, who will likely be no higher than No. 3 on the depth chart, has earned the praise of coach Lane Kiffin during the spring because of his tireless work ethic.
“I take notes from him as far as the way he works,” starting running back Devin “Motor” Singletary said. “He never takes any days off, on or off the field.”
Hearns, who played at Dwyer, is in his final season with the Owls.
