Florida Atlantic quarterback Chris Robison deserves to make second start against Air Force on Saturday

BOCA RATON — Chris Robison could be one-and-done as Florida Atlantic’s starting quarterback.

After drawing the start in a 63-14 loss to No. 7 Oklahoma on Saturday, Robison, 19, has not yet been confirmed as the Owls’ starting quarterback going forward. FAU head coach Lane Kiffin, who picked Robison over redshirt junior De’Andre Johnson and graduate transfer Rafe Peavey, said on a conference call Sunday that there have been no conversations about who will start for FAU (0-1) against Air Force (1-0) in Saturday’s home opener (2 p.m., CBS Sports Network).

Playing his first game at the FBS level after transferring from Oklahoma and redshirting last season, Robison was 15-of-26 for 157 yards and no touchdowns.
