The “Last Chance U” star on Florida Atlantic’s roster will be finishing his college career elsewhere.
Quarterback De’Andre Johnson announced on Twitter on Sunday he will be transferring. He expressed gratitude toward FAU for accepting him during what he called “an important time in my life.”
Johnson did not include the school he will transfer to in his statement.
Originally enrolled at Florida State out of high school, an incident in which Johnson punched a woman at a bar sent him off the Seminoles and landed him at East Mississippi Community College, where he was featured on the popular Netflix series “Last Chance U,” before arriving at FAU.
