Receiver Nero Nelson was considered one of the top recruits in the Florida Atlantic 2018 football recruiting class.
He now is a former member of the group. Nelson has decided to leave the program, according to his junior college coach.
“It’s not surprising,” said Glenn Davis, who coached Nelson at Copiah Lincoln (Miss.) Community College. “When he went far that far away, I was kind of concerned. He’s a tremendous talent but he sometimes doesn’t make the best decisions.”
The 6-foot, 180-pound Nelson was widely considered one of the best junior-college prospects and was rated No.
