BOCA RATON — Knowing full well that opposing offenses will need to pass early and often against Florida Atlantic’s defense this year, Charles Cameron already knows his mindset for when the ball is in the air.
“Let me see if I can hit a wide receiver,” Cameron said.
The idea of a 6-foot-2, 305-pound defensive tackle hitting a wide receiver is a sight worth the price of admission. What would happen, for example, if Cameron were to hit FAU sophomore receiver Willie Wright, who is listed at 5-foot-8 and 155 pounds?
“You never know,” Cameron said.
