Florida Atlantic defensive back Meiko Dotson learned a valuable lesson during his only season at Georgia Tech.
He learned too late that playing college football is a full-time commitment and it led to him leaving school. After two seasons at the junior-college level, Dotson is ready to resurrect his career at FAU.
“It’s a business and you’ve got to really focus,” Dotson said. “You can’t blame anybody else but yourself.”
Dotson, who starred at Daytona Beach Mainland High School, was one of the state’s top players when he signed with Georgia Tech in 2015.
