Florida Atlantic redshirt seniors Dillon DeBoer and Shalom Ogbonda have endured a lot during their tenures as Owls. They've been through two head coaches and an interim one. They've ridden a four-game winning streak and dragged through a seven-game losing streak.
They've changed positions or risen up the depth chart. It ends on Saturday when FAU (3-8, 2-5 Conference USA) visits Middle Tennessee State (7-4, 4-3) in the final game of their careers.
"It's crazy but it's been a blessing," said Ogbonda, a starting defensive tackle.
"A little excited, a little sad," said DeBoer, the starting center.
