Florida Atlantic running back Kerrith Whyte Jr. announced he is declaring early for the NFL draft on Twitter on Thursday.
The redshirt junior joins fellow running back Devin Singletary as one of three FAU players to forgo is senior season and declare for the NFL draft. Singletary, the school's all-time leading rusher, announced he was declaring for the draft on Wednesday.
Whyte Jr. ends his collegiate career with 1,358 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. He ranks eighth in program history in career rushing touchdowns.
The Seminole Ridge graduate rushed for 866 yards and eight touchdowns on 134 carries this season and also hauled in 10 receptions for 160 yards and two touchdowns.
