Florida Atlantic shortstop Tyler Frank was named Third-Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball.
A junior, Frank hit .315 and ranks second in Conference USA with 64 runs scored. He also hit 13 home runs, 19 doubles and has a .459 slugging percentage. He has played a large role in the Owls qualifying for the NCAA Tournament and making their first appearance in the conference tournament final.
Frank, who last week was named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year, ranks eighth in the league with 122 assists. He is expected to be chosen in the early rounds of MLB draft on Tuesday or Wednesday.
