BOCA RATON — Not even a week into fall training camp, Florida Atlantic running back Devin Singletary has found himself on another list celebrating college football’s best players.
After previously being named the sport’s 34th best player by Sports Illustrated in June, Singletary (American Heritage) was chosen as the 50th best player in college football by ESPN on Monday. Singletary, 20, was the final player chosen on a list of 50 FBS stars, many of whom come from Power Five conferences.
“Nobody really calls him Devin,” ESPN wrote. “They call him ‘Motor,’ a nickname from his dad, but it is fitting given the way he plays.
