Florida Atlantic held its 10th practice of the spring Tuesday morning in the fields behind the Tom Oxley Athletic Center. FAU has just four sessions remaining before the annual spring game April 22 at 4 p.m. in FAU Stadium.
FAU coach Lane Kiffin said the spring game will be live (with tackling to the ground), but the coaching staff has not decided on the game’s format.
Here are some observations from Tuesday:
-- Linebacker Jerrad Ward got the first crack at playing strong-side linebacker (also called Sam), rotating in when the Owls switched from their 4-2-5 to a 4-3 look.
