Florida Atlantic starting right tackle Kelly Parfitt will miss the upcoming Kansas State game, Owls coach Charlie Partridge said Monday morning.
Parfitt exited FAU's loss against Miami on Saturday midway through the first quarter after teammate Greg "Buddy" Howell was tackled into the back of his legs. Parfitt did not return to the game and remained on crutches on the sideline.
Against Miami, FAU shifted Antonyo Woods from right guard to tackle and inserted Jakobi Smith at right guard. Partridge did not say if the same offensive line that finished against the Hurricanes would be the one that started against the Wildcats.
