After a month-long competition, Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin finally made a decision on the starting quarterback.
On Saturday, moments before the Owls’ game at No. 7 Oklahoma, freshman Chris Robison was revealed as the starter. It marks his first collegiate start at the Division I-A level.
Robison originally signed with Oklahoma out of high school before being dismissed last summer for violating team rules for a second time. He sat out last season at FAU because of NCAA transfer rules but was a valuable member on the scout team.
