It is unknown how long Florida Atlantic football coach Lane Kiffin will remain in town but at least he now knows he’s always welcome.
On Tuesday, Kiffin was presented a key to the city of Boca Raton. He was recognized for the impact he’s had on the community since being hired in December of 2016.
The presentation took place at the Acura Club at FAU Stadium. The event was emceed by Boca Raton Bowl executive director Doug Mosley. Kiffin was awarded the honor by new mayor Scott Singer, who took office earlier this week in place of the suspended Susan Haynie.
