The Florida Atlantic baseball team’s season finale against Western Kentucky on Saturday was called off because of rain.
The Owls finished the regular season at 36-15-1 and now will begin preparation for play in the Conference USA Tournament, which starts Wednesday in Biloxi, Miss.
After winning five of six to conclude the season, including both games against Western Kentucky, the Owls are expected to earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament. They could also punch their ticket by winning the conference tournament.
