The Florida Atlantic baseball team is well aware of the biggest obstacle standing in its way during this weekend’s NCAA regional in Gainesville.
They just prefer not to focus on it because there is a more immediate task in front of them. While they were placed in the same site with top-seeded Florida, the Owls are only locked in on facing Jacksonville in Friday’s opening game.
“That’s the least of our worries,” sophomore Eric Rivera said of the mighty Gators. “We just got to go in and play Jacksonville, play a good game, play how we can play and I think we have a good shot.
