BOCA RATON — After nearly 20 years as a football program, Florida Atlantic is looking to build more rivalries in the coming years. Specifically, those of the in-state variety.
In the days leading up to FAU’s highly anticipated showdown with No. 16 UCF, athletic director Brian White told The Palm Beach Post he believes the university could benefit from scheduling more games and series with some of Florida’s other FBS teams.
“I think it’s really cool for them to go play a UCF,” White said. “That’s probably more relevant for them than to go play another team in the Midwest.
