BOCA RATON — Florida Atlantic will once again host the Miami Heat, as the three-time NBA Champions announced they’ll hold training camp at FAU for the third time in four years later this month.
The Heat previously practiced at FAU Arena – also known as The Burrow – in 2015 and 2017, making the playoffs each season. All practice sessions are closed to the public. There will be an open scrimmage at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, only hours before FAU’s football team faces Middle Tennessee in Murfreesboro. Lane Kiffin’s Owls are 1-1 and host Bethune-Cookman on Saturday evening.
