Florida Atlantic defensive coordinator Roc Bellantoni does not want his defense to care about what the Owls offense does. No matter how much rest his unit gets or what field position it is forced to defend, Bellantoni wants his players focused on the next play.

"That's all that really matters," Bellantoni said. "Each play has a lifetime of its own. We shouldn't really care about where the ball is or how it got there."

The FAU offense has stumbled through the past two games, scoring 17 points and gaining 425 yards combined in a pair of losses.
