Florida Atlantic baseball appeared to have a victory in-hand in Wednesday’s exhibition game against Major League Baseball’s St. Louis Cardinals before an eighth inning implosion cost them the win.

The Owls (7-0) limited the Cardinals to one run off of three hits throughout the game’s first seven innings and held a 6-1 lead going into the eighth inning.
