FAU Baseball got out to an early 12-0 lead and held on for a 12-7 victory over Jacksonville, following a rain delay that lasted over five hours. The game from start to finish lasted nine hours and 20 minutes.
“I just want to first of all thank everybody from the NCAA and the University of Florida grounds guys,” said FAU head baseball coach John McCormack in his opening remarks. “It was a lot of work that they put in for this game to be finished tonight.
