ead baseball coach John McCormack received a four-year contract extension with Florida Atlantic Wednesday, pushing his contract through the 2020 season.
McCormack has led the team to six 30-win seasons in his seven years as head coach of the Owls. He has also won three conference championships with FAU and has made three NCAA regional tournament appearances.
“I first want to thank Dr. Kelly, Pat Chun, and the rest of the administration for having the faith in me to continue to lead the program,” McCormack said through an FAU Athletics news release. “I consider it a tremendous honor.
