Alabama receiver Chris Herring to transfer to FAU

Herring is the second receiver after Rahsaan Lewis to transfer to FAU.

Another walk-on wide receiver will transfer to FAU, this time it’s senior Chris Herring who originally went to the University of Alabama. Joining the Owls, Herring reunites with former offensive coordinator for the Crimson Tide, Lane Kiffin.

Herring will be immediately eligible to play receiver for the Owls since he is a walk-on transfer, compared with Alabama where he never received the opportunity to record a catch.
