Mexico's best players will be in North Texas for the June 9 friendly match against Ecuador. At least, that's the idea.
The contest at AT&T Stadium will be the final match before El Tri begins the Gold Cup, the Concacaf championship and its most important tournament of the year. With the tournament taking place when the world's best club teams are off for the summer, manager Tata Martino will be able to bring in the best of the best.
But a recent spate of injuries and potential withdrawals have raised concerns about how many of Mexico's key players might be missing from the tournament's roster.
