Before the start of the 2016 season, FC Dallas made several moves to help boost their roster. In the process it meant saying goodbye to several familiar faces. Here is what those players are up to now:
Bakary Soumare - Retired
Soumare joined FC Dallas in July of 2015 in a trade for Kyle Bekker. Soumare never saw action for FC Dallas due to injury and subsequently retired from professional soccer after the 2015 season.
Stephen Keel - Retired, but kickin’ it on KickTV
Keel joined FC Dallas in 2013, and his last action for the first team was in 2014, during the US Open Cup semi-final against the Philadelphia Union where he got injured and subsequently was unable to recover from it.
