After a couple weeks of city meetings and deals to sell Toyota Field, soccer in San Antonio is about to change, and hopefully for the better. On Monday, Bexar County commissioners approved the lease agreement allowing Spurs Sports and Entertainment to operate Toyota Field as it works to bring a Major League Soccer franchise to San Antonio.
Today, SSE announced that they would be launching a USL side in 2016 to play at Toyota Field.
