Frisco is on course to once again host a US national team, according to Grant Wahl, as the men's senior team prepares for Copa America Centenario. Toyota Stadium would be the venue for the USMNT v Ecuador, on May 25, per Wahl's Insider Notes for SI.com. This could be a battle of the FC Dallas central midfield pairing of Kellyn Acosta and Carlos Gruezo. Unfortunately Gruezo has been out of the Ecuador setup for over six months, and has not featured in a competitive fixture since the World Cup. It seems that the tournament may be too soon for a place in Gustavo Quinteros' team, even if the 20-year-old continues to impress for the Hoops.
