ESPN and MLS had been in the works to migrate over MLS Live to ESPN’s platform for quite some time now. Earlier this year, we got news that ESPN would launch a standalone streaming service called ESPN+ and would cost $4.99/month. However, we were still light on the details and in the meantime, MLS was continuing to stream all the games for free on their platform.
Starting April 12th, ESPN+ will go live with a plethora of other sports besides MLS. The sports includes, but not exclusive to, MLB (one game per day), NHL (one game per day), boxing, college sports (including men’s and women’s soccer), PGA and Grand Slam Tennis.
