TRANSFER RUMOR: FC Dallas interested in top Chilean youth prospect Marcelo Allende

With the summer transfer window starting to heat up, FC Dallas is allegedly looking to bring in another promising Chilean midfielder, according to rumors on social media Wednesday morning.

According to MLS Transfers, FCD is targeting Marcelo Allende, who plays in Liga MX with Necaxa and has featured prominently in Chile’s youth side, including an outstanding 2015 U-17 World Cup where he was Chile’s top scorer.

This isn’t the first time the 5-foot 6-inch attacking midfielder has been linked with a move to MLS. This past winter, Allende was rumored to be joining the Colorado Rapids on loan before the side pulled out thanks to slow-moving negotiations.
