Over the season, FC Dallas has entertained the idea of Homegrown Players. By signing academy products such as Jesus Ferreira, Paxton Pomykal, and Bryan Reynolds, it has been made clear that Dallas is looking to take a much younger approach to the 2017 season.
With the recent signing of Reynolds as the club’s 17th Homegrown player, it is easy to forget those that came before the 15-year-old. More importantly, it is easy to forget the original three Homegrown signings: Moises Hernandez, Victor Ulloa, and Ruben Luna.
The whereabouts of Victor Ulloa and Moises Hernandez are well-known. Moises Hernandez spent his 2016 season on loan with the NASL side Rayo OKC while Victor Ulloa spent his time with Dallas’ first team, making random starts here and there.
