FRISCO -- FC Dallas stayed undefeated to start the season but had to settle for another draw, playing to a 1-1 tie with the Portland Timbers on Saturday afternoon.
It's another point for FCD to start the season but also feels like a bit of a regression after Sunday's 3-0 win over the Seattle Sounders. In that match, FCD converted several chances, but Saturday reverted to being a team able to create attacking opportunities but unable to finish.
"What I want to see all the time is a collective analysis and what I see is a team who dominated the game, were the protagonist of the game the whole time and were the best of the two sides," FC Dallas coach Oscar Pareja said after the game.
