The Dallas Sidekicks host the Monterrey Flash on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Allen Events Center in a game with playoff implications, even this early in the season that only started last month.
The reason for the importance comes down to the Flash being the top dog, and the Sidekicks have already fallen short once this season, an 8-2 loss last Sunday in Mexico. If Dallas is to make the playoffs, they have to find a way to beat a side that has been, in various forms, one of Dallas' main rivals for decades. Recently, Monterrey has been the better side on most occasions, and now the Sidekicks get to see how they stack up against them at home.
