FC Dallas finished off their Northwest road trip by grinding out 0-0 tie at Portland on Saturday to bring the point total for the trip 4. Ok, MLS teams don't really go on "road trips" as they come back and train in Dallas all week in between. But with back-to-back road games with long travel to places FCD rarely wins, four points is pretty dang good. The tie clinched a playoff spot for FC Dallas.
