FC Dallas traveled to Colorado on Sunday night and came away with the worst case scenario loss, well almost the worst case, losing the knockout round bye.
Thankfully for FCD, the Portland Timbers rested a whole bunch of players at Vancouver Whitecaps and didn't get a result either. So even with the loss at the Rapids, your Hoops managed to cling to 4th place and get a home knockout game. Hosting Portland, ironically.
We'll get to the big FCD picture in another article, but for now, let's talk about the Rapids game. There were both good and bad things in this game.
