FRISCO -- A two minute brace from Tesho Akindele rescued victory from the jaws of defeat as FC Dallas prevailed in a battle between the two MLS conference leaders.
"Oscar told me when I come in I have to make a difference, the game can't just stay the same," said Dallas striker Tesho Akindele. "That's what he's been telling me this week so I tried to make sure once I came in I could change the game."
The hosts got off to a promising start as Atlanta's Jeff Larentowicz took down Roland Lamah just outside the Five Stripes' box in the 22nd minute.
