The Dallas Sidekicks will return to the Major Arena Soccer League in 2018/19 after missing the 2017/18 season. Former FC Dallas General Manager, and owner of the Ft. Worth Vaqueros, Michael Hitchcock leads a new ownership group for the historic indoor team which was founded 35 years ago.
"The MASL is proud to announce the return of the Dallas Sidekicks for the 2018-2019 season," said MASL Commissioner Joshua Schaub in a statement released by the Sidekicks. "The team's high quality talent and passion was greatly missed last year; however, it was a vital time for the organization to intentionally reorganize and regroup to prepare for this season and beyond.
