In a fantastic battle, and a good sign for the future, the Dallas Sidekicks went toe to toe with the Monterrey Flash Sunday afternoon at the Allen Events Center, ultimately falling 6-5 in overtime, but not before showing they could once again give one of the top teams in the MASL all it could handle.
As with many games between Dallas and other playoff-bound teams, the game started cautiously. Unlike most other games, this one stayed tight until the end and had to be decided by a golden goal that the Flash found just over five minutes in the extra period.
