Santiago Mosquera's first minutes in an MLS game left him unhappy.
He knew the rhythm of U.S. soccer was different from the one he used to play in Colombia, and that he would need to work intensively to adapt and succeed with FC Dallas.
"As a soccer player, you always want the best. But I will be patient. I know this is my fit-in time. I'm getting to know this league", Mosquera, 23, said after his debut with Dallas in the local league.
In the first match of the season, tied 1-1 with Real Salt Lake last weekend in Frisco, Mosquera started the game before exiting for another player at minute 63.
