FC Dallas opted to gamble this past summer when they sold Homegrown defender Reggie Cannon to Portuguese side Boavista, hoping that larger sale-on clauses would get triggered quicker for the young United States national team star.
It appears at least one of those clauses in the deal has been met according to MLSSoccer.com’s Tom Bogert.

Cannon started for Boavista today, his 15th appearance (in all comps). It triggers another $1.25m fee to FC Dallas for 25% of his rights.
