FRISCO -- FC Dallas produced a win of historic proportions Saturday night, topping Real Salt Lake 6-2 on a record-breaking night at Toyota Stadium.
FCD became the first MLS team to score five goals in the first half of a match. And Roland Lamah scored the second-fastest hat trick from the start of an MLS game, taking just 31 minutes to put three in the back of the net.
The lopsided victory served as mouthwash for an FCD side that had failed to win its previous four home matches, its longest such streak since 2013.
"I think it was a beautiful night for many reasons," coach Oscar Pareja said.
